On days like today, when it is rainy, I sometimes try to indulge myself with as much knowledge as possible. Today, I opened up our informational piercing books and started taking notes. The books nor my notes will help me with completing the physical piercings, but the knowledge is helpful in many ways. In learning new information I am able to make the client more comfortable and I'm about to give them more knowledge about the healing process that is to come. The more particulars that I know, the more comforted the client is that I comprehend what I'm talking about and that I know how to properly complete the piercing that they have asked me to perform. I am always enthused to be acquiring new facts so that throughout my apprenticeship I can become as knowledgeable as possible. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask. Even if I don't already know the answer, I will make sure to find one. So stop in and ask away!
It has been super cold and everyone has had their jackets pulled tight. I can't wait for spring so our clients can let their new art hang out with pride. It seems here at the studio we've been pushed to new levels this year and I am crazy proud of all my artists. Whether you have been tattooed here or not, or never tattooed at all, please stop in, have a look at the studio and watch someone get tattooed. Then talk to one of the artists about the dreams you have for your skin. That's what we're here for. The tattooists in my studio were artists or illustrators before they were trained to tattoo so there's all kinds of creativity going on here and we would love to draw something new for you or help refresh, redesign or reimagine something you already have but want updated.
